If you want to make your AutoCAD Edocs visible under the SGI on-line help viewer (insight) try the following: cp -r /CDROM/acad_bks /usr/share/Insight/library/SGI_bookshelves/SGI_AutoCAD Then place the attached file (booklist.txt) in the SGI_AutoCAD directory (overwriting the one that is already there. Then bring up insight and view/browse/search in your AutoCAD books along with all the others. You can also set up a system-wide edoc repository and either auto-mount the Insight/library bookshelf or use the 'insight -l library' option. With this option, you can easily save 200+ MB of disk space per system (AutoCAD books alone consume 85MB or so) and yet have the online docs available for all to use. Background: Both Insight and DynaText (dtext) are licensed from Electronic Book Technologies (EBT). Insight has a nicer user interface (IMHO), better searching, allows for nicely printed output, and has the same look&feel as the rest of the SGI desktop. Both products store the edocs in SGML format, thus the ability to share data.
